New Lime Rock Storage

A smart move by Ravensdown has resulted in their new lime rock storage facility reducing the site's annual greenhouse gas emissions by 60%. Keeping the lime protected from the weather prior to processing means they don’t need to use the unsustainable method of drying it with coal. This SmartShelter in Geraldine, Canterbury, is 30m wide and 30m long with a silver fabric cover and mounted to double stack containers on either side.
