SMART FABRIC TECHNOLOGY

The fabric cladding we use is one of the most important aspects of our product, so we believe in getting it right. Our fabric is sourced from Canada and has been purposefully designed to be used as structure fabric. It is the most advanced fabric technology in the world and has been proven in the harshest conditions of North America, New Zealand and across the world.

  • High-tension roof cover - manufactured not to stretch or shrink to ensure structural integrity for the life of the shelter
  • Ripstop cross-weave technology minimises accidental damage and makes repairs quick and easy
  • Sustainably certified - tested across five critical performance categories: material health, product circularity, clean air & climate protection, water & soil stewardship and social fairness
  • Industry leading 12-year warranty
  • High strength-to-weight ratio (Strong and light)
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Chemical resistance
  • UV stabilised - screens out UV rays preventing degradation and ensuring a long UV life
  • Over 70% light transmission when using our white fabric. Natural lighting means a healthy environment and better working conditions
  • Available in a range of colours to suit your application

Go for strength, not thickness

When it comes to roof covers, it’s not about the thickness of the fabric. Some people think that fabric thickness and weight is an indication of its quality, but this is a myth. A heavy fabric that isn't fit for purpose will wear out quickly. Don't let the thickness fool you into believing it's stronger. It’s about how well it will withstand high UV and tough weather conditions without stretching or wearing out.

We use an industry-leading ripstop 407gsm Polyethylene structural fabric, sourced from Canada and used and trusted by structural companies worldwide. We are proud to be the only supplier of this fabric in New Zealand.

This specific fabric has been used in our structures for over 30 years, and it has consistently proven reliable. While weighing slightly less than PVC fabric, its unique properties make it the number one choice for the majority of the world's fabric structure manufacturers.

  • Purpose developed structure fabric
  • 407gsm reinforced Polyethylene Ripstop base cloth with a high density PE coating
  • 20 year track record in New Zealand’s harsh UV conditions
  • Does not stretch or shrink in varying temperatures unlike PVC and other fabrics

Triple Layer Membrane

Patented triple-layer architectural structure membrane to stand-up to the varied and harsh NZ weather conditions. Exclusive double-stacked scrim is a unique weave design offering strength and durability that our competitors don’t have. Woven from high-density polyethylene slit tapes and coated on both sides with low-density polyethylene

Although it may be more costly than vinyl due to the less common raw materials used, improved health and sustainability benefits often outweigh the cost.

BETTER FOR ALL

Although it may be more costly than vinyl due to the less common raw materials used, improved health and sustainability benefits often outweigh the cost. PVC-free products are environmentally friendly, reducing carbon footprint and improving indoor air quality.

PVC-free means:

  • It is manufactured without the use of toxic chemicals
  • It does not promote mold and fungal growth
  • It does not require a solvent to clean, only soap and water
  • It has a greater cold crack resistance, and less seams are required
