Ripper

The S3200 Deep Ripper has been specially designed by the SmartShelters team to achieve optimum conditions in composting barns. We designed a ripper that is both quick and effective at ripping the bedding to the correct depth and mixing the effluent into the bedding at the required depth, allowing the bacteria to thrive as they do their work.

At 3.2m wide, it is the optimum width for ripping performance and accessing normal farm gateways. The critical factor in composting bedding is having the correct depth of bedding per square meter. We recommend a bedding depth of 800mm and a ripping depth of around 450mm from the surface to achieve the best results.
